A shout out to The Big Man, Clarence Clemons, who is recovering from major spinal surgery he had in back January. He’s already playing again, appearing at a benefit and comparing himself to the Energizer Bunny. In honor of Clarence here is my favorite version of Jungleland ever. It’s from the 2000 Springsteen/E-Street Band tour. I went to the St. Louis concert and it was great. 26 songs. Over three hours. Lots of old favorites. But they didn’t do Jungleland. They did it in New York and recorded it for posterity. The highlight is Clarence but the whole thing is a treat.
